Youth participants will learn functional strength through fundamental athletic movements and the classic clean and jerk with a loaded barbell. It is a progressive program that will increase overall strength, resilience to injury, confidence and teach lifelong healthy habits. 

Who – Participants aged 13-18

When – Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-6pm beginning May 27 and ending August 16th, 2019. This is a 12-week summer program.

Where – Athletic Training Zone in the AWC

Price – $200.00 Includes access to the AWC Fitness Centre during supervised training 2X/ week for 12 weeks, a water bottle and a few added surprises.

Ask about Canadian Tire Jumpstart funding for low-income families.

Olympic Weightlifting
